Wishing you a sunkissed Tuesday!


This dragonfly was perched facing the sun soaking up the evening rays.  The shot is not as crisp or clear as I would like, but I did not realize that the camera was set to macro mode with the zoom lens extended.  Oh well, can't wait to upgrade to a DSLR!  Plus, I'm still learning......  :)

    MarieElizabeth: The picture is a snapshot of the dirt road that I grew up on. Home is in the rural south and I want to get back there so badly! Its very quiet and peaceful. Thanks for commenting and following! :)

    this shot shows the dragonfly in all her colours! I really like this for her position on the flower (and I am not a fan of macros - especially insect macros!)
