This petunia was on the side of the road on top of a pile of grass clippings. It had been discarded, but looked like it still had a little bit of life left to it.

Wishing all of you a blessed Sunday!

Discarded until you found it. Now it will live on as part of your blog!
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if it's doing very well. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't appear to know it was tossed aside yet. Did you take it home?
ReplyDeleteIt is still beautiful and so alive. Nice capture. I find discarded and fallen flowers all the time and I take them home and put them in water. I try to save them but it doesn't always work.
ReplyDeleteFunny how they will still find a way to bloom and get some nutrients from whatever they are planted in! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was down in my compost heap the other day I saw a petunia similar to yours blooming away. I thought oh poor thing. I caste you aside so early.
ReplyDeletePetunias are hardy little flowers. I do not discard my plants until they have the last bloom. Glad you found it and gave it a little glory!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful capture!

ReplyDeleteIt was begging to be picked up, but sadly I left it behind. I had my hands full with the camera and my dog. :(
