Horse barns are pretty plentiful in our area. I have decided to get out and start photographing the ones that I can easily gain access to.
I adjusted the colors and added this texture to give it more of an old feel. For more great barns be sure to visit Tricia!
Happy Tuesday!

Hi SS, Thanks for coming to my blog. Hope you come back!!!! Tricia asked if she could add my blog to her Barn Posts... I don't do memes --but told her to 'go for it'... I do seem to post alot of old barns...
ReplyDeleteYour horse barn is neat... Love the way you adjusted the colors and texture...
Come back anytime.
Hugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteLove your editing on this one. Really makes this image come alive! (P.S. Great question about the pros of shooting in RAW. I'll make it the topic of my next Tech Talk Tuesday on, you guessed it, next Tuesday! HaHa Thanks for asking.)
ReplyDeleteI love barns that have the tops of the doors open up so that the horses can stick their head out of the stalls! What a lovely barn. And nice processing on the image.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love the way you gave it the sepia look. Barns are one of my favs to photograph as well.

ReplyDeleteJust come across your page for the first time and thought I would add to the long list of texture comments that you have.....Sitting alongside the last eight or so posts I've looked at, it's all outstanding, superb work.
ReplyDeleteI think I found your blog right before my daughter had surgery...at the end of the first week of October. I am so glad you commented on my Time Stand Still post to remind me of your blog! I love this picture, and must say that even though I have lived longer in Indiana now than the years of my youth in Tennessee, I still consider myself Southern...there is just something about the people from the south. When we go down, it hits me every time. Or when I have to call somewhere there is a southern voice, I feel I have an instant friend.
ReplyDeleteSorry to ramble, just thank you for commenting. OH, and i LOVE this picture.
I love American barns, this one is especially lovely and the texture is gorgeous.
