Blue Morning Glory

Even though here in the South we are not getting hammered with snow, we have had a much colder winter than usual and a lot of the days have been overcast and gloomy.   Today is another of those days and its pretty windy.

I found this sweet Morning Glory while going through some old pics and thought I would share it with you.

This was taken last spring.   I am counting down the days; I miss the sunshine, pretty flowers and walking barefoot in the grass.

Happy Wednesday!!   To all my blogging friends up North - stay warm and be safe!

xoxo,

  4. Love your blue and your header.

I know there will be cold and snow before the spring, and I know we need it, but why do winter months seem to last longer than summer and fall?

  14. Oh, it is cold and snowy here up north!! I would give almost anything to see one of these popping up, but it will be quite some time before that happens!

  22. For a split second you had me going with your post. Yesterday all the snow and today the morning glories. NICE spring shot, and it is good to reflect upon your favorite time of the year. Thinking of you.

  23. When I saw the thumbnail of this photo on my blog sidebar, I thought morning glories were already blooming somewhere! But the reality is different, I see. I, too, long for the beautiful spring flowers.

  25. Such a pretty flower. Blue too! Morning glories can be very pretty. This one has done a good job of warming some cold folks. I am glad you preserved it in living color.

I would like to think that our winter is over. We will get back down into the 50's for highs a couple of days next week. I won't count those as part of winter. SPRING IS HERE! :)
