Scripture and a Snapshot..

I took this photo over Thanksgiving when we visited my SIL.   They have a beautiful farm and a pond that sits at the edge of a field.  It is so peaceful, one could sit there for hours.

I immediately knew what I wanted to do with this photo, and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.   Truly, we need to more like Christ and be fishers of men.

Have a blessed Sunday!

xoxo,

  17. That IS a wonderful spot! And, I like what you've done with the image. Isn't it cool when something will bring a bible passage to mind? Feels like God's whispering in my ear at times like that.

    Blessings,

  18. Whoa, what Photo Shop actions did you use on this. It's gorgeous. Jesus' first disciples left every thing to follow Him. Would I do that?
    Stopping by for S&S. blessings!

  20. I will not fail you or abandon you- the comfort in these words makes us able to become fishers of men. And what is really nice is knowing that we are never working alone. Your image and scripture work well together. Thanks for the Sunday blessing!
