I found this in my archives from last summer and thought I would share it with you. I love the bright green lantana leaves in this photo - very fitting for today!
This is my first edit in Lightroom 3. I then pulled it over into Photoshop Elements 8 and sharpened it a tad more. Do you use Lightroom? I have a 30-day free trial, so we'll see how it goes.
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!

SO pretty! I love these swallowtails (and lantana is one of the few flowers I grow since they keep coming back on their own!)
ReplyDeleteReally nice details with the butterfly and small flowers without losing the nice colors in the background. :)
ReplyDeleteWow - this is gorgeous! Such a great close-up!
ReplyDeletegreat shot.. let me know how you like lightroom 3, is it worth the upgrade?
ReplyDeleteOh so bright and cheery! I've been thinking about using the trial version too. Let us know what you think!
ReplyDeleteOh that makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteLove this...so bright n cheery!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color. Especially the slight hint of blue in the wings. Makes me long for warmer days!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful butterfly!
ReplyDeleteNo, I do not use Lightroom. All my editing to date has been on Picnik. I bought Elements 9 about a month ago but I'm even intimated to load it onto my computer for fear of what it will do to my current storage method of photos! I neeed to read the opening chapter first!
Such vibrant colors. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful. I use CS5 and have not used Lightroom very much. One of those things on my "to do" list! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful photograph!
So very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, I have a similar shot.....maybe I'll have to pull it out, too! My swallowtail was missing a section of its "tail," though. So beautiful....I LOVE seeing swallowtails for the first time in summer (late spring or whatever!).
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful.. I have lightroom but to be honest havent used it alot.
ReplyDeleteStunning.
This is EXCELLENT! I LOVE it! Hope you like LR3. I LOVE it!!
