Macro Friday - Leaf

As we were leaving a local park this past weekend I picked up this large leaf.  The afternoon sun was quite bright so I held it up and snapped the pic just for fun. 

I love the color and texure, and the way the sun is peaking through the small hole.  There is such beauty in nature - even a leaf that is just lying on the ground.

I zoomed in and came up with this macro for today's post over at Blogging from Bolivia.

SOOC Sunday - Acorn

We are finallly having some fall weather.  Actually tonight is more like winter and we are having our first fire in the fireplace.   Loving it!!
