Ice Crown

I am soooo happy that we got snow today!!   It was an inch or less that accumulated, but nonetheless very exciting for us Southern folks that do not get to see it very often.    My youngest is still outside playing with his buddy and does not want to give it up - even though he is probably close to becoming a popsicle right about now.

This dried flower looked like it was wearing an ice crown.   I hope to get out in the morning and find some more icy macro shots.

For more great macros, but sure to visit Lisa.  Its a fun way to start the week!

Have a happy Monday!!

xoxo,
SouthernSass

  13. I like the small snow-helmet that the flower is wearing. Snow is gorgeous and so beautiful, however, too much snow can be frustrating especially when it is impossible to by car or other public transportation :S

    Have a great Monday!

  19. It was my kind of snow. Blanketing everything, but then the temps have risen enough to melt it off the roads making travel safe. By the end of this week, they are predicting we'll see 60! Unreal! It's 19 this morning!
