ReplyDelete@Jan - My camera is a Nikon Coolpix P90, which is not a DSLR. I have the ability to take it off of "auto" and it will function in all of the modes available on a DSLR. My son's DSLR would not focus in and capture the pic - but my mighty Coolpix did. I set it in S-mode (shutter priority) and with the tripod - it got the job done. It has 24x optical zoom.
