This is one of several tractors that my brother-in-law has. He is a farmer and works so hard. I never really knew how hard these men and women worked and I am very appreciative of their efforts.
I am still messing around with textures and this photo was a little over-exposed so I added a couple of textures to try and compensate for that. Please be sure to visit here for more great mid-week blues!
Have a lovely Wednesday!

My hubby would love one of those for Christmas and he loves blue!
ReplyDeleteNice effect, SS.
What a great 'effect' for that photo ! Great idea. Love the blue.
ReplyDeleteJohn Deere should be jealous.
Oh, so cool! Love the processing.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I love this, reminds me of a picture in an old magazine. Love the texturing!
ReplyDeleteOur old ford is all tore apart and getting fixed, (slowly)
ReplyDeleteOh I love this - the processing is very neat.
ReplyDeleteA very interesting picture for its subject and the special processing you used. It makes a very eye-catching shot.
ReplyDeleteLove that color blue...I'm sure he stands out in the field while driving that baby! Love the texture too, I am going to learn how to texture if its the last thing I do. First I have to master photoshop, but before that, I have to master all aspects of my camera...me thinks I have a looooong way to go! hehe :)
ReplyDeleteMy BIL's a farmer too. Man, do they work hard.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot and the texture really adds to the ruggedness!
Great you could rescue your pic, which turned out very well with the texture! I don't know how farmers do it -their work is never done!
ReplyDeleteI like the effect - looks cool!
ReplyDeleteMy Dad was a farmer. He worked hard too. So did us kids when we were still at home.
ReplyDeleteI like your Ford tractor picture. You salvaged a not-so-good picture real fine. I also like the older Chevy parked beside it.
My uncles (three) and my grandfather each had one besides at least one larger tractor. My father didn't as he only had one tractor at a time.
..
This is just fantastic. The work you did on this is wonderful, and I am so loving that blue tractor!
ReplyDeleteHello, just stopped in from Elaine's Artic View blog. Really enjoyed reading some of your previous posts and this one of the old tractor was great. Please feel free to stop by and visit our blog spot - we appreciate all comments and visits - http://thefrogandpenguinn.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteLove the effect and the pretty blue!
ReplyDeleteThe texture has saved the day! Yes, farmers really do work hard!
ReplyDeleteLove the texture...it gives it that old farm feel.
ReplyDeleteMid week blues. Are you feeling blue due to lack of sun? Or doing a blue project? Loving your tractor. I like when you describe your textures. How is the weather out there on the farm?
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of tractors in Denmark, but I don't remember seeing a blue Ford! Great MB photo ;-)
