I'm sorry to overdose you on icy/snow shots, but that is the big story here right now. This particular shot was taken during our last snow event the day after Christmas. This little branch and drop was frozen after the snow had started melting, but had refrozen during the night.
We are forecast to get 1 inch of snow overnight (I'm hoping for more!) but the big story is the ice that is expected tomorrow afternoon. Grrrrr...... Ice is never good, no matter where you live.
The "crud" has also reared its ugly head again and I have been sick and have fallen behind on keeping up with everyone. I hope to be catching up with all of you tomorrow, provided we have power.
For more great macros be sure to visit Lisa - its a fun way to start the week!
Have a wonderful week!

Hi there and thanks for coming by my place. Right now it is just a sleeting, so I am afraid we won't have power much longer. Chicken-n-dumplings huh? I use self rising flour, milk and some oil, mix together and roll in more flour, roll out and cut and drop dumplings into boiling chicken broth, and thicken with even more flour if needed lol. You can tell I am from the south huh? I hope ya'll don't get really bad stuff, and that you don't lose power. Stay warm, and I will eat enough dumplings for you too. :)
ReplyDeletewell we got ours & still getting ours tonight here in MS. So, I just might get a few shots in the morning, before it melts. Love your picture & sorry you are under the weather.

ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get a little snow here, but don't think it'll be too bad. I've got a frozen picture this week too. (haven't put it up yet, but will before I go to bed!)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot and focus! We are expecting more snow and ice. I don't mind the snow so much, but hate that ice as I can't get off my hill when it is icy. Ugh! Have a wonderful New Year!! ♥
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely shot! I am working on trying to add my watermark to my photos this year, but I can't get the thing to drop and stay! Just found a tutorial by MCP actions....but it's time for bed! I'll work on it tomorrow. We're snowed in up here, and I've got the time! Praying that you'll be feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Susan
looks very cold. I hope you got snow instead of ice. My son is hoping for a lot of snow overnight to give him a snow day.
ReplyDeleteAt least with ice, it gives you something new to photograph! :) (trying to see the positive side to it ;) )
