Scripture and a Snapshot..
I took this photo over Thanksgiving when we visited my SIL. They have a beautiful farm and a pond that sits at the edge of a field. It is so peaceful, one could sit there for hours.
I immediately knew what I wanted to do with this photo, and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Truly, we need to more like Christ and be fishers of men.
Perfect in every way ....... the scene, the processing (which is just the way I would have processed it) and what a great commissioning verse to be reminded of.
Perfect shot to go with this verse! Love it! And if we follow Jesus, he will make us fishers of men! :) (at least I don't think I need to touch the worms that way! lol!)
Gorgeous photo, and love that scripture, thank ou for sharing my new friend, I love to put scripture on my photos too, just makes them so special. Love your blog, and will be back, stop by and visit me soon, the door is always open, and the welcome mat is out. Hugs Barbara from http://bakinnbitsbarbara.blogspot.com/
That IS a wonderful spot! And, I like what you've done with the image. Isn't it cool when something will bring a bible passage to mind? Feels like God's whispering in my ear at times like that.
Whoa, what Photo Shop actions did you use on this. It's gorgeous. Jesus' first disciples left every thing to follow Him. Would I do that? Stopping by for S&S. blessings!
I will not fail you or abandon you- the comfort in these words makes us able to become fishers of men. And what is really nice is knowing that we are never working alone. Your image and scripture work well together. Thanks for the Sunday blessing!
