Old Blue - Revisited

"Old Blue" is back.  I went home this past weekend and daddy brought him out from underneath the shed.   This is a 1971 F100 Ford pickup truck.

He has seen better days, but like the Energizer Bunny and with good maintenance, he keeps on going!  I did not texture this photo and the lighting was better - so here you have the true Old Blue.

For more great Midweek Blues be sure to visit The Dusty Cellar.

Happy Wednesday!

  3. Boy, does this shot show personality! think it turned out perfectly....certainly appeals to me. If a truck could talk, I bet this one would have some great stories to tell. We have a ’92 big old Ford truck we call Big Blue. Out here in the country we could not do without him. Thanks for your supportive comments about my 2 daily photo shots. Please stop back by for a follow-up visit.

  6. When I met the hubby he had a 67' Ford F150 short bed that was red and I learned to drive a standard in that truck. We sure miss it alot. We had some great times in that truck. Drove from Utah to New York when he got out of the service back in 85!

  17. What a cool shot! I'm glad you explained that it's not textured because I thought at first glance it was!

My dad had an old very similar, maybe a 1973 or 1974. That's quite remarkable that it still actually starts.
