Uncle Tilman's Barn

This old barn belonged to my great-uncle Tilman.   His place is right down the dirt road from my daddy's.  Growing up, I can remember many summers spent playing in and around this barn with my cousins.

It is made of heart of pine boards and has really held up well over the years.  It is probably close to 80 years old, if not older.

Be sure to visit Tricia to see more great barns!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

xoxo,

  11. Very nostalgic. It's amazing how well these barns hold up. Maybe it's the tin roof! :-)

  13. I love old barns, especially ones with history - I loved playing in my aunt's barn when I was a kid, and sleeping outside in the hammock, getting ate by bugs, lol. :0)
