Photos, thoughts, etcetera from a Southern girl....
a great shot!
What a cutie he is! I am not sure what he is either but I LOVE caterpillars of all kinds! You asked what type of lens I use for Macro. I use a Nikon 105mm with VR that hubby got me for Christmas two years ago. One of the best presents I ever got. Here is a link to it: http://amzn.to/acydrq You can get ones without the VR a lot cheaper - but I never use a tripod so my lenses all need to have VR.
Great capture! He's so pretty.
He must be wearing his colorful fall coat. Nice macro shot.
That guy is awesome. He looks as if he's made of fabric.
It's the same color as the center of the daisy. :)
Great shot, he sure is colorful!
wow, awesome capture! Love the green, it really pops!
Excellent details and colors in this macro shot!
Wow, really interesting. I wonder what he will become!
Oh wow! He's gorgeous. Who would have thought I'd ever say that about a caterpillar?
You do some awesome macros!
Isn't he neat?! Reminds me of a cactus!
It almost looks like a tomato worm. They get those little white dots that are egg larvae from wasps. Anyway, it is a great picture. you certainly have a way with photos!Have a great day.Pam
What a gorgeous shot! I love photographing insects and most have amazing colors. I have a beautiful green beetle on my blog today.
Awesome! I love it!
I dunno what he is either but I don't think you should pop him in your mouth like a gummy work - he's cool!
That is a gorgeous shot of a gorgeous subject! I don't think we have those caterpillars here, but if we did, I'd certainly take pictures of them! How pretty they are!
He's so neat! Love those vivid colors.
You find the most interesting critters down your way! Love it!
