Macro Monday - Green
I found this guy a couple of weeks ago on my front porch. Not sure what type of catepillar he is - but he was a pretty shade of green with orange dots.
For more great macros be sure to visit Lisa. Happy Monday ya'll!!
What a cutie he is! I am not sure what he is either but I LOVE caterpillars of all kinds!
You asked what type of lens I use for Macro. I use a Nikon 105mm with VR that hubby got me for Christmas two years ago. One of the best presents I ever got. Here is a link to it: http://amzn.to/acydrq
You can get ones without the VR a lot cheaper - but I never use a tripod so my lenses all need to have VR.
It almost looks like a tomato worm. They get those little white dots that are egg larvae from wasps. Anyway, it is a great picture. you certainly have a way with photos! Have a great day. Pam
That is a gorgeous shot of a gorgeous subject! I don't think we have those caterpillars here, but if we did, I'd certainly take pictures of them! How pretty they are!
a great shot!
