I snapped this cotton bloom a few months ago in the early morning. The sun was just coming up and I caught some great bokeh in the background - a very nice surprise when I pulled it up on the computer!
This is SOOC other than a little bit of a crop. Go visit Jan for more great SOOC shots at Murrieta 365.
Have a blessed Sunday!

Very nice! I've never seen a cotton blossom this close before.
ReplyDeletethis is beautiful. I love that splash of delicate white.
ReplyDeleteFirst time seeing a cotton blossom. Thats a great shot and love the bokeh. Wanted so bad to get some shots of the cotton fields when in Al. but no place to pull over and going to fast.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely this is, and you are right, the bokeh is spectacular!! Living in the rocky mountains of Utah, I don't think I've ever seen a cotton blossom. Love your photographs and your 'neck of the woods'- so beautiful and I really love your 'header'. I'll 'follow' and visit you again. And thanks for visiting me. Hope to see you back soon!
ReplyDeleteLove the Bokeh! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot, love the bokeh. For me, it's always by accident.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea the cotton flower was this pretty! Neat shot indeed!
ReplyDeleteThat's really nice - bokehs are such a surprise aren't they when they appear on the screen.
