These old silos stand proudly against the side of a dirt road. They appear to not have been used for quite some time. Their tops are rusted and one of the silos has a large hole in the side of it.
I added a texture because I am crazy for textures these days. Be sure to visit Bluff Area Daily today for some great photos of barns!
I hope you are all having a good start to the week!

I would love to be wherever you are with my Polaroid, finding these old barns! What perfect subjects, and you do them so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteBack again! Just read your comment re: The Creative Exchange. Your photograph today is really very creative. Remember, it can be anything that is uniquely you, and any of your barn shots that I've seen would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Lisa.
Nice job on the texture & the green color - They're cool silos & are proudly standing, indeed!

ReplyDeleteVery cool shot - I love the texture!
ReplyDeletethe greenish sky adds a lot of interest to this!
ReplyDeleteI really like your barns in the USA but with the added texture it just makes the picture ever so vintage - lovely editing. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should learn how how to add texture myself - I love it!
ReplyDeleteI need to play with textures more - you always make me want too. lol Love the silos! hubs and I were talking about how neat, and big, it would be to turn on into a house.
ReplyDeleteVery Nice.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the texture. I need to learn how to do that!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone! A friend introduced me to Shadowhouse Creations. He has great textures. Then, on my own, I stumbled across Kim Klassen's textures - they are equally as great! I really do NOT know what I am doing yet with textures, but I play around and find what I like.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I'm really enjoying your use of textures these days, fun!
